Kabuki wedding band were thrilled to play at Natalie and James’s wedding in Yorkshire on the 6th December. The evening reception was at Tickton Grange Hotel near Beverley in East Yorkshire. As always, we try to perform and record the first dance request; Ben E Kings immortal, “Stand by me”. The importance is not just the song but what it recalls and the significance to the couple, which they kindly shared with us. It was a privilege for us to play it for them and our engineer recorded it for posterity.

Captured also is our slow run in to the first set and the amazing Dusty Springfield’s, “Son of a Preacher Man” performed by our equally amazing Gemma and the Band. Congratulations to you both and the very best wishes as you embark on your life together as Husband and Wife.
